On October 20th, 2018 the Wiener-Anspach Alumni Network organised a guided tour of the Ghent Altarpiece (“Adoration of the Mystic Lamb”), under restoration by a team led by Hélène Dubois, a former Fellow of the Foundation.
The visit started at the Fine Arts Museum of Ghent, where Hélène Dubois highlighted the work carried out on this fabulous altarpiece. The tour then continued at St Bavo’s Cathedral, where the group was able to admire the Altarpiece itself.
Hélène Dubois was granted a postgraduate fellowship in 1989/1990 to study History of Art at the University of Cambridge. Since 2016, she is the head of the Conservation project of the Ghent Altarpiece.
